Chapter 1: The Spark in Coxsackie (2017)
In 2017, inside the walls of Coxsackie Correctional Facility, the concept of Bigger Bag Entertainment took root. When you are stripped of your freedom, physical space, and the comfort of the outside world, you are left with only your mind, your discipline, and your vision. I realized that real power and real independence are never given to you—they must be manufactured through unwavering focus and built on a foundation nobody can take away.
Chapter 2: The Visual Identity & The Bar of Gold
I sketched the initial ideas with pencil on plain paper. The emblem had to tell the entire story before a single word was spoken: a crown of self-determination, wings of elevation lifting yourself and your people out of the dirt, and the bar of solid gold representing uncompromised, internal value. "Bigger Bag" was never just about money—it was about holding yourself to an untouchable standard in business, creativity, and brotherhood.
Chapter 3: Fifteen Years Apart & The One Month That Shook My World
Nothing prepares a man for profound personal loss. My brother and I had been physically separated for 15 long years. Through every single season of separation, the thought of reuniting on the outside, standing shoulder-to-shoulder, and building something legendary was the fire that kept me moving forward.
When I finally walked out those gates and came home, we were back in each other's presence. But life proved how fragile time truly is. Just one month after my release, my brother passed away.
Losing him after a decade and a half of waiting didn't just break my heart—it tested my very spirit. Walking through that level of grief made one truth crystal clear: tomorrow is not guaranteed to anyone. Every single dream delayed is disrespecting the breath still left in your lungs. I took that pain and made a promise that his memory and our shared bloodline would be etched into an empire built on honor, resilience, and unshakeable work ethic.
Chapter 4: Sleazy Broz & Ground-Level Rochester Comedy
Rochester has an unmistakable reality, grit, and humor. With Sleazy Broz, we took everyday street situations and local culture, transforming them into sharp narrative comedy. It wasn't just to make our people laugh—it was designed as an economic vehicle. We take real local institutions like Pot Roast Papi's, shoot right on location, and put hundreds of eyes on neighborhood food and businesses.
Chapter 5: Powered By The ROC & The Community Directory
Our community has talent, kitchens, barbershops, and artists that rival anywhere in the country, but lack distribution and cooperative media. Powered By The ROC was created to eliminate the gatekeepers. Whether it's an artist dropping a single or an authentic neighborhood kitchen feeding the block, Bigger Bag Entertainment provides the platform to be seen, voted on, and supported.
Chapter 6: The Creed
"Don't stop filling your bag until you bag up the world."
